These products are delivered through one of many mechanics, accompanied by ground breaking in-house creative to deliver effective sales promotion campaigns to suit most audiences.

The Commercial Lawyer manages all legal advice and support to the company involving:

• Corporate Matters
• Intellectual Property
• Litigation & Disputes
• Compliance with ASA & ISP regulations

Job Description

As the Commercial Lawyer you will review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts for leading clients. You will advise the commercial team and board members on legal and commercial risks associated with business operations, their potential impact and suggested mitigating actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage external legal support
• Stay abreast of legal developments affecting the company, its clients, and incorporate it into the company’s practices
• Represent company’s interests and liaise directly with clients and negotiating teams
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts for medium to complex promotions
• Help develop, and understand, risk mitigation strategies for contractual risks
• Counsel, advise, and consult company executives based on accurate interpretation of contract documents and the facts of a business opportunity
• Develop internal guidelines, toolkits, and packaged knowledge on various legal and business issues
• Support, promote and implement initiatives as part of legal and operations team
• Deal with multiple work projects

What They're Looking For:

• Fully qualified Solicitor or Barrister with five years’ post qualification experience
• Experience in negotiating contracts
• Proven ability to efficiently manage work projects a large volume of work
• Basic understanding of Intellectual Property and other recurring contractual issues
• Basic ability to present alternatives and proposed solutions
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organisational skills
• Ability to apply judgment to broaden influence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Diversity management/cultural awareness
• Understand contracting policy and general risk tolerance

You will need the ability to work in a fast paced environment and be hardworking, flexible and willing to be available when required to support the company's global offices.
