Large Loss Personal Injury Solicitor/Legal Executive

My client is a forward thinking and progressive firm based just outside Newport, South Wales. In order to sustain their recent growth, they are seeking solicitors of various PQE levels within the field of personal injury.
Applicants for this particular position must be qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience or be a qualified Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years experience in Multi Track and Large Loss PI Litigation. You will preferably be from a defendant background but my client will also consider those from a claimant background.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work both autonomously on higher value litigation and also as part of a team when required on cases and or projects. Applicants must feel comfortable in undertaking face to face negotiations and meetings, as this is a core component of the role. You must also be able and willing to mentor more junior members of the team and firm as required.
A commercial awareness is vital in this role, as well as an appreciation of the need to work in a structured manner as required by client SLAs. Likewise, a willingness to partake in client relationship building and developing would also be a necessary part of this role.
