The firm's restructuring practice covers the whole spectrum of restructuring and insolvency work, and provides expert advice backed by specialist market knowledge and cutting edge technical practices. Their strength lies in the size of their team (approaching 250 lawyers worldwide) and they have in-depth experience representing lenders, debtors, creditors’ committees, and other major constituents in some of the world’s largest and most complex restructuring and insolvency matters. Their work ranges from re-organisation and reconstruction, distressed corporate finance, debt restructuring, and refinancing to formal insolvency procedures such as administration, receivership, voluntary arrangements, liquidation, and bankruptcy. They have considerable experience advising financial institutions, businesses and other key stakeholders on rescue and recovery procedures.
Their highly regarded Chambers-rated team in Birmingham is looking to recruit a solicitor of 3 year's PQE or above. The role is mainly non-contentious, with particular emphasis on business and asset sales, the restructuring of businesses, debt involving distressed real estate issues, security creation and enhancement, and formal insolvency procedures. They welcome applicants from both contentious and non-contentious backgrounds. Ideally, candidates will be strong team players with experience from good quality City or regional practices.
